The New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department approved, at its 8/27/2026 hearing, to repeal its rules 3.9.1 NMAC, Cigarette and Tobacco Products Taxes - General Provisions filed 12/1/2000 and replace it with 3.9.1 NMAC, Cigarette and Tobacco Products Taxes - General Provisions effective 9/22/2026.
