The Department of Finance and Administration, Local Government Division, hereby
approves the repeal of 10.6.2 NMAC – Enhanced 911 Requirements, to be replaced
with a revised and updated 10.6.2 NMAC – Enhanced 911 Requirements. The
replacement rule is adopted on 11/ 24/2025 and effective 12/23/2025.
This repeal and replace action is undertaken to carry out the provisions
of the Enhanced 911 Act, ensure a reliable, uniform E911 and NG911 system
statewide, and reflect current standards, technologies, and program
requirements implemented by the Department of Finance and Administration, Local
Government Division
