14.8.4.6 OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this rule is to establish minimum standards for the installation, alteration, repair, relocation, replacements, addition to, use, testing, and maintenance of all medical gas and vacuum piping systems in New Mexico.

OF THE 2024 NFPA (NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION) 99 HEALTH CARE FACILITIES
CODE:
A. This rule adopts by reference the
2024 NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code and all annexes (as explanatory
material), as amended by this rule.
B. In this rule, each provision is numbered to
correspond with the numbering of the 2024 NFPA 99.
C. This rule shall apply in conjunction with the
provisions of all applicable New Mexico construction codes, laws, and
standards.
