TO NOTICE OF PUBLIC RULEMAKING HEARING
In the Notice of Public
Rulemaking Hearing published in Issue 16 of the New Mexico Register, August 25,
2026, announcing a public rule hearing October 1, 2026, an incorrect paragraph “Purpose
of Proposed Rules” has been corrected to the following:
Purpose of
Proposed Rules:
The proposed rule changes are intended to amend the rules to align with
statutory changes in 2021 (age for serving in restaurants where primary source
of revenue is derived from food and not alcoholic beverages lowered to 18, and
to remove military institutions from the distance requirement for liquor
establishments), and 2023 (removing restrictions and requirements for alcoholic
beverage delivery specific to Class A Counties), and to correct typographical
errors.
Also, rule 15.11.20
Licenses and Permits, was incorrectly listed as 5.11.20 in two places and has
been corrected.
