The Construction Industries Commission approved at its May 20, 2026, meeting, to repeal and replace its rules effective August 1, 2026:

14.8.2 NMAC – 2021 New Mexico Plumbing Code, filed 5/15/2018; 14.8.3 NMAC - 2012 New Mexico Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code, filed 5/15/2015; 14.9.2 NMAC - 2021 New Mexico Mechanical Code, filed 5/15/2018 and 14.9.4 NMAC – Boilers, filed 1/1/1998; 14.9.5 NMAC - 2021 New Mexico Medical Gas and Vacuum System Installation and Professional Qualifications Standards, filed 11/15/2019; and replace them with 14.8.2 NMAC - 2024 New Mexico Plumbing Code; 14.8.3 NMAC - 2024 New Mexico Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code; and 14.9.2 NMAC - 2024 New Mexico Mechanical Code and 14.9.4 NMAC – Boiler, and 14.8.4 NMAC - 2024 New Mexico Gas Code.
