NOTICE
OF TERMINATION OF RULEMAKING
The Early
Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) is providing Notice to
terminate the rulemaking, noticed on October 20, 2026, regarding the amendments
to 8.9.3 NMAC – Child Care Assistance; Requirements for Child Care Assistance
Programs (updating the child care assistance copayment schedule) and 8.9.4 NMAC
– Child Care Licensing; Child Care Centers, Out Of School Time Programs, Family
Child Care Homes, and Other Early Care and Education Programs (aligning zoning
requirements).
Therefore,
pursuant to Subsection C of Section 14-4-5, NMSA 1978, the rulemaking noticed
on October 20, 2026, is hereby terminated.
